Hot Sugar Talks Associative Music, Pony Camp, First Naked Woman Internet Search, and Performs “The Seagull” Live In Studio

This week we sat down with creative beatsmith Hot Sugar. The NY based producer coined the term “associative music.” He creates soundscapes from every day noises most of us would never think to record. For the video portion he turned a lighter into a melodic note. He’s even turned silence into a synth.

Hot Sugar’s released multiple solo projects. He’s also worked with acts like The Roots, Open Mike Eagle, Kool AD, Heems, and Antwon. He showed up on our Youtube channel on Kitty’s “Florida.” We talk about pony camps and our first internet search for a naked woman.
